bug - dune buggy or off road vehicle

cur - wild dog

deet - data terminal; computer

eat fish - die in some horrible, painful way, such as poisoning

[Most people do not eat "freshwater" fish out of fear of contaminants or parasites. Telling someone to "go eat fish" is considered a high insult.]

egghead - scientist or scholar, including Lorekeepers

full robo - having many cybernetic prosthetics or enhancements

goon [also: gooner, goonie] - large thug; bully; legbreaker

hippie - pacifist; [also] member of a commune with pacifist tendencies

ice cream - fiction; fantasy; a lie; something too good to be true

ice cream man - liar; teller of tall tales

Jezz - prostitute; promiscuous person

juice - a drug or stimulant

knowins - understanding of something

liner - convicted criminal

lines - criminal barcode tattoo

looch - respected fighter or popular gladiator

"look at some pictures" - make a bowel movement (and possibly wipe with old magazine paper)

muffin - a person from a city or affluent settlement; a rich or pampered person

Normie - mutant term for a normal human [also: Norm (male,) Norma (female)]

nuke pooch - irradiated or diseased dog, possibly mutated

old timer - elderly person; [also] anyone claiming to have been born before The Fall, such as those awakened from cryogenic slumber

peyote - small, spineless cactus which contains psychoactive alkaloids, particularly mescaline

pitfighter - someone who fights for money; a gladiator

psi - psionic (psychic) abilities; someone possessing psionic ability

repo, repo man - person who collects from those who default on cybernetic debts

Rosie - android designed to look female

rabbit [verb] - flee; run

sang - blood wine

skinner - cannibal

spit-shake - agree; make a deal

squawk - talk on a radio or walkie-talkie

squawkbox - any kind of radio

steak dinner - something of good or exceptional quality; a fortunate turn of events; a desirable or attractive person

sicko - a person suffering from disease; a bizzare-looking mutant

thumper - Grand Union enforcer

tin man - an android, male in appearance

Tracy - bounty hunter

turtle dance - party; celebration

wahbux - warbucks; Wartime Assistance Recovery notes

wheelie - driver, from the term "wheelman"

whippet - NOS (nitrous oxide) cannister, used to make vehicles faster or simply to get high

zippy - zip gun; improvised firearm
